The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will travel to Liberty, Mo. on Thursday to face the 6-7 William Jewell Cardinals. 

The Prairie Stars are 9-3 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. The Prairie Stars are 7-6 against the Cardinals all time, and won their last matchup by a score of 64-53.

UIS currently ranks second in the GLVC with an average of 81.8 points per game. The GLVC leader is No. 5 nationally ranked Missouri-St. Louis.
