The UIS track and field teams competed at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic in Allendale, MI on Friday.
Chris Cherry was the top finisher for the Prairie Stars, coming in second in the men's mile. His 4:07.12 mile time is a new school record.
Matt Moler finished just over a second behind Cherry in 4:08.75, running a new personal record for the second week in a row. Both Moler and Cherry ran under the NCAA DII provisional mark for the event
Noah Tegeler was another top-10 finisher, coming 6th in the 5,000m.
BreChandler was the top finisher for the UIS women with her 10:26.07 debut in the 3000m, which was good for 13th place.
