The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will host Missouri S&T on MLK Day. The Prairie Stars will tip off against the Miners at noon for their third game in five days.

UIS fell in their last two games, giving Southwest Baptist a scare before falling by seven. UIS holds a 1-7 GLVC record. 

Missouri S&T women's basketball is 9-7 overall and 5-3 in the conference. The Miners have won three of their last five games, including two wins against GLVC opponents. They are the GLVC statistical leaders in offensive rebounds and blocked shots.

The Prairie Stars fell by a score of 83-69 in their last matchup versus Missouri S&T on Dec. 10, 2022.
