The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will look for its second straight win on Thursday when it hosts Southwest Baptist at TRAC at 5:30 p.m.

The Prairie Stars took down Rockhurst on Saturday with an 84-71 victory for their first win of the 2022-23 season. Southwest Baptist is 7-7 overall and lost to Lewis on Saturday. The Bearcats have averaged 66.1 points per game and a shooting percentage of 39.4% so far this season.

Southwest Baptist, who joined the GLVC in 2019, lead the all-time series by a 5-1 margin.
