The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team hit the road for the first time in 2022 on Saturday with a trip to Findlay, Ohio. The Prairie Stars came up short to Findlay by a 1-0 decision.

Neither team scored for the first 82 minutes of the game, before Findlay scored the game-winner in the 83rd minute on an unassisted strike. The game was a defensive battle throughout, with the two teams combining for just 19 shots and seven shots on goal.

Allison Mirimanian made three saves in goal.

The Prairie Stars fall to 1-2-1 on the season. UIS ends its non-conference portion of the schedule on Tuesday evening at home against Purdue Northwest.
