The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team gave up a pair of goals in each half on Friday in St. Louis, Mo., and the Prairie Stars lost to Maryville by a 4-0 margin.

Maryville controlled the game throughout, outshooting the Prairie Stars 16-2, including 11-1 in shots on goal. The Saints also had eight corner kicks, and did not surrender one.

Sierra Cenek had the team's shot on goal midway through the first half, and
Abby Dellamorte also had a shot in the second half.
Allison Mirimanian made seven saves in goal.

UIS falls to 2-3-2 overall, and 1-1-0 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars return to St. Louis on Sunday to face Missouri-St. Louis.
