The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its academic award winners for NCAA Division II on Tuesday. Both the men's and women's program at the University of Illinois Springfield earned the all-academic team award, and 13 individuals were named ITA Scholar Athletes.

The all-academic team award goes to teams with a team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the 2021-22 school year. The women's tennis team had the top GPA at UIS this past year with a 3.89 mark, while the men's team achieved a 3.43 team GPA for the year.

The scholar athlete awards are handed out to individuals with a 3.50 or higher GPA for the current year. On the women's side,

Riann Hsu,
Kamila Kalinowska,
Carmen Llopis Fabra,
Neha Mokhasi,
Piper Schrepferman, and
Sina Skjelstad earned the honor. For the men, honorees were
Matthew Lapsley,
Tomas Martinez,
Zubin Omar,
Rafa Rojas,
Menno Servaes, and
Oscar Toro.
