The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced its NCAA Division II Midwest All-Region team today.
Zion Pettigrew earned another Regional Player of the Year honor.
Brandon Bannon and
Colton Hale were first-team selections,
Asher Bradd was a second-team pick, and
Austin Alderman and
Kal Youngquist were honorable mention.

Through the first game of the NCAA Regionals, Pettigrew leads UIS with a .421 batting average, .862 slugging percentage, and .538 on-base percentage. He also has a team-high 85 RBI, 23 home runs. He has scored 73 times this season, has 82 hits, 17 doubles, and 10 stolen bases.

Bannon is the team leader with 80 runs. He is batting .369 with a .596 slugging and .482 on-base percentage. He has 75 hits, 15 doubles, two triples, nine home runs, and 49 RBI.

Hale is currently 10-1 on the season with a 3.65 ERA. He has struck out 74 batters in 69 innings, while walking just 23. He has allowed just 58 hits, and opponents are batting just .223 off of him.

Bradd leads the team with 89 hits, 22 stolen bases, and five triples, and is second with a .385 batting average and 79 runs. He also has 10 doubles, three home runs, and 35 RBI.

Alderman is batting .359 with a .656 slugging and .473 on-base percentage. He has recorded 59 runs, 69 hits, seven doubles, four triples, 14 home runs, and 61 RBI.
