The University of Illinois Springfield men's golf team finished sixth at its annual Dan Salisbury Memorial Tournament at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Ill. Three players had individual top-25 finishes at the event.

The Prairie Stars opened with one of their best rounds of the season, shooting a 299 over 18 holes. The Prairie Stars then shot a 305 on Tuesday for a total of 604. UIS tied for sixth among the ten teams at the event.

Individually,
Hagen Sanchez was among the leaders after day one after shooting a two-under 70. He shot a 78 in round two for a 148 which was first on the team and 12th overall. Sanchez was second in the field with a two-under average on the par-four holes.

Brady Wilson and
Spencer Jury also had top-25 finishes after consistent rounds. Wilson had two straight rounds of 75, while Jury scored 76 both days. Wilson led the team with 25 pars, while Jury had one of the best holes of the tournament with an eagle on the par-five tenth hole.

Rounding out the team scoring was
Tom Bumann with a 156 and
Aryaman Mohan with a 157. Bumann shot a 76 on Tuesday, and was three-under on the tournament on par-five holes. Mohan was the tournament leader on par-three holes by shooting one-under for the event.
Damian Liang competed as an individual and had a 172.

UIS will ends its regular season next week at the Hawks Invitational in Quincy, Ill.
