The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team shut out Quincy on the road on Sunday afternoon. The Prairie Stars went 9-0 on the day for a 7-0 team victory over the Hawks.

All three doubles matches were decided by 6-2 scores. The winning pairs were
Menno Servaes and
Sebastian Jonsson,
Nick Revin and
Oscar Toro, and
Matthew Lapsley and
Ivan Esguerra.

In singles, UIS won four of the six in straight sets.
Rafa Rojas was especially impressive in his win, losing just a single game. Other winners were Servaes,
Nick Revin, and
Matthew Lapsley.
Zubin Omar and
Sebastian Jonsson both went to a third set to get their singles victories.

UIS moves to 6-5 on the year. The Prairie Stars are in action next Saturday at McKendree for the team's first GLVC contest of 2022.
