The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team fell to Missouri-St. Louis on Friday in St. Louis, Mo. The Prairie Stars came up short by a 5-2 decision.

The Tritons won four single matches and two doubles matches on the day. UIS's
Riann Hsu was the only Prairie Stars to emerge from the day without a loss as she won both her No. 4 singles and No. 3 double match. Her partner in the 6-4 doubles win was
Piper Schrepferman. Hsu's singles victory came by scores of 6-4 and 6-0.

The other victory was at No. 2 singles.
Carmen Llopis Fabra lost the first set, but won the next two by scores of 6-4 and 6-1.

UIS falls to 4-6 on the season. The Prairie Stars travel to Quincy on Saturday.
