The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team continues its busy week on Thursday with the second of three road games. The Prairie Stars will travel to Liberty, Mo. to take on William Jewell.

The Prairie Stars lost the first leg of the road trip on Monday with a 71-63 setback against the current No. 1 team in the GLVC, Lewis. The loss dropped the team to 9-13 overall and 4-10 in conference action.

William Jewell also lost on Monday with a 72-65 loss at home against Drury. The Cardinals are .500 overall and in GLVC play after that result.

The contest looks to be a defensive battle. Both teams enter with similar stats as they are averaging 68 points a game, and allowing just under 68 points a contest.
