Men's Basketball Searches For Win At Lewis

The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team looks to get back into the win column on Monday night when it travels to Lewis for a 7:30 p.m. game.

Last Thursday, the Prairie Stars dropped an 80-74 decision at home to Quincy. UIS is now 9-12 on the season, and 4-9 in conference action.

Lewis also played Quincy in its most recent game. The Flyers defeated the Hawks by an 83-73 margin on Saturday afternoon.

Back on Jan. 27, Lewis won the first meeting this year against the Prairie Stars. The Flyers shot 65.3 percent in the game, compared to 40 percent for UIS. Chris Hamil led the Prairie Stars with 16 points, and Chase Robinson had 13 points and four rebounds.
