The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will travel to Evansville, Ind. on Monday for a first-round GLVC Tournament game. The Prairie Stars will take on Southern Indiana.

UIS heads into the postseason with a 12-16 overall mark. The Prairie Stars ended the regular season with a loss to Drury.

Southern Indiana is 17-7 on the season. The Screaming Eagles needed overtime on Saturday to defeat Lindenwood by a 66-60 score.

Southern Indiana won both regular season meetings this year by scores of 64-52 and 66-39.

The winner will advance to the quarterfinal round on Friday in Edwardsville, Ill. and will face the winner of Missouri-St. Louis and Drury.
