The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will head out on the road for its final two games of the 2021-22 regular season. The trip begins Thursday night at Missouri S&T.

UIS enters the week ranked sixth in the GLVC according to the Point Rating System. The Prairie Stars are looking to stay in the top eight in order to host a first-round GLVC Tournament game next Monday. Missouri S&T is currently 10th in the league standings.

Both teams are looking to bounce back after losses on Saturday. UIS fell to Rockhurst by a 60-53 margin, while the Miners lost to Southern Indiana by a score of 63-50.

UIS and Missouri S&T rank in the top half of the GLVC in scoring, with both averaging over 67.5 points per game.
