The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team enters the final week of the regular season looking to move up in the GLVC Point Rating System (PRS). The Prairie Stars first attempt will be on Thursday at Missouri S&T.

UIS and Missouri S&T are among a group of six teams from eighth through 13th in the conference within 0.28 in the PRS. The PRS will determine seeding for next week's GLVC Tournament, including one of those six teams hosting a first-round game.

UIS is coming off a 66-63 win over Rockhurst on Saturday. Missouri S&T lost last Saturday at Southern Indiana by a 72-65 margin. The two teams come into the game with a +0.0 scoring margin on the year, as both have scored the same amount of points as they have allowed.
