The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team won seven of the nine competitions that took place in Park Forest, Ill. on Friday afternoon. The final team result was a 6-1 victory over Purdue Northwest.

UIS opened the match by winning the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Sina Skjelstad and
Neha Mokhasi won 6-1 at the top, and
Franca Bucco and
Carmen Llopis Fabra won 6-3 at No. 2.

The Prairie Stars then won every match from No. 2 through No. 6 singles. Winners were Fabra,
Piper Schrepferman, Bucco,
Riann Hsu, and
Kamila Kalinowska. Bucco had the biggest win, dropping just one game in two sets at No. 4. Schrepferman won 6-1 in both of her sets.
