UIS Women's Basketball fell by just seven points to Truman State, one of the top women's basketball teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Ariyah Douglas was near her season best with 26 points. Freshmen
Brianna Zajicek and
Ava Bardic were close by with 23 and 22 points respectively. Zajicek and Bardic each had season highs in points and field goals made.
Next up for the Prairie Stars is an away game versus Missouri S&T on Dec. 10. They'll be back home for a game against Southwest Baptist on Thursday, Jan. 12.
