UIS women's cross country finished seventh at the GLVC Championship in Elsah, Ill. on Saturday. Jordan Serrahn was the top finisher for UIS in 31st place, and Jade Aubrey was close by with a 33rd place finish. 

"The ladies ran great, they got out in great positions early and hung on to those spots." said Tyler Pence. "It's a tough course, but I was happy with how they finished. The GLVC is a tough conference on both the men's and women's sides. Overall, I'm happy with the performance."

Lewis took the team title, and were followed by SBU, then Indianapolis.

The team will run next at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 19 in Kenosha, Wis.
