UIS women's soccer won over UMSL on Friday night in Lebanon, Ill. with a final score of 2-1. It was a historical moment for UIS women's soccer as it will be their first appearance in the GLVC Tournament Final. 

The team scored twice in the last 15 minutes of the GLVC Tournament semifinal to win over Missouri-St. Louis and advance to the final round of the tournament. Dani Auble scored first for the Prairie Stars and tied the game 1-1. She was assisted in her first career goal by Madison Grandys.
