The NCAA released the Division II Cross Country Selection Announcement on Monday. The UIS Men's Cross Country team earned an at-large bid for its first National Championship. The team of Wyatt McIntyre, Cort Ross, Chris Cherry, Noah McIntyre, Matt Moler, Ryan Jones, and Gabe Martinez will run at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington on Friday, Dec. 2. Wyatt McIntyre will be running in the Championship race for the second time in his career, this time as a part of the first UIS men's cross country team to advance to Nationals.

The team was ranked 21st in the most recent USTFCCCA national ranking on Nov. 9. Its highest ranking of the season was 15th in the week following their second place finish at the Lewis Crossover.
