The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball squad lost the shooting battle on Thursday night in a home loss to Lewis. The Flyers defeated the Prairie Stars by a score of 83-63.

Lewis finished the night shooting 65.3 percent from the field, including making 13-of-16 from three-point range. The Prairie Stars could not keep up with those totals, shooting 40.0 percent from the field, and making nine-of-28 from the three-point arc.

Chris Hamil led the UIS offense with 16 points, including making four three-pointers. He also paced the squad with three assists.
Chase Robinson added 13 points, making half of his 12 shots from the field. Robinson and
Jack Weber both had team-highs of four rebounds. Weber had the team's only block, and
Jacob Hanna had a pair of steals.

UIS falls to 9-9 on the season, and 4-6 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will look to bounce back on Saturday when they host Indianapolis at 3 p.m.
