The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will look to match its longest winning streak since moving to the NCAA level on Monday afternoon at TRAC. The Prairie Stars will have to get past Maryville for their seventh straight win.
UIS earned its biggest victory of the season on Saturday with a 68-64 decision over Missouri-St. Louis. The Prairie Stars are now 8-6 on the season, and 3-3 in GLVC play.
Maryville has been off since a 66-57 win over William Jewell on Jan. 6. The Saints are 9-5 overall, and 3-3 in conference play.
The Saints enter Monday's game ranked third in the GLVC by forcing 14.4 turnovers a game, and second with nearly eight steals a contest. UIS is fifth by turning the ball over 11.7 times a game.
