The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will put its longest winning streak of the
Matt Brock era on the line this Saturday when it hosts Missouri-St. Louis at 3 p.m. at TRAC.
The Prairie Stars have won five straight games, including a 98-66 GLVC road victory on Thursday night at Lindenwood. UIS is now 7-6 on the season, and 2-3 in conference action.
Missouri-St. Louis is receiving votes in the national poll after starting the season with a 10-2 record. The Tritons are 4-1 in GLVC play, including an 83-72 victory over Missouri S&T last time out.
Missouri-St. Louis leads the GLVC by turning the ball over just 10.5 times a game. UIS is fourth in the league with 11.5 turnovers a game.
