The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will take a four-game winning streak on the road this week to Lindenwood. The Prairie Stars and Lions will face each other on Thursday night in St. Charles, Mo.
UIS has the third-longest active winning streak in the GLVC at the moment. That streak has improved the team's record to 6-6 overall, and 1-3 in league action.
Lindenwood enters play on Thursday with a 5-7 overall record and a 1-3 GLVC mark. The Lions have lost five straight, including a 74-56 loss in their most recent game on Jan. 2 against Truman State.
UIS comes into the game with the third-best scoring defense in the GLVC, while Lindenwood is ranked eighth in the conference in scoring offense.
