The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team reached double-figure wins on Sunday with a 7-0 victory over Maryville in St. Louis, Mo. It is the fourth time in the team's NCAA era that it reached 10 or more wins.

UIS did not drop a match in the competition, starting with dominating doubles play. The teams of
Menno Servaes and
Tomas Martinez, as well as
Oscar Toro and
Alex Chan, won their matches by 6-0 scores.
Nick Revin and
Matthew Lapsley won their doubles match by a 6-2 margin.

In singles, Servaes, Revin,
Rafa Rojas, Lapsley, and Toro were victorious in straight sets. Servaes and Rojas both won after dropping just two games, and Lapsley only dropped one game in his match. The final winner was Martinez at No. 1 singles. He lost the first set, but fought back to win set two and the tiebreaker.
