The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis program picked up two singles victories during its match on Friday at No. 5 Indianapolis, and were a pair of third-set losses away from an upset victory. The final team score in the match was 5-2 for the Greyhounds.

Indianapolis won all three doubles match, but UIS came close at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, including in a tiebreaker at No. 3.

In singles,
Nick Revin and
Matthew Lapsley earned victories at the No. 4 and No. 6 spots, respectively. Revin won 7-5 in the deciding third set, and Lapsley was a 6-1 and 6-0 winner in his match.

Menno Servaes took the No. 27 player in NCAA Division II to a third-set before falling 7-5.
Rafa Rojas also won a set in his match before dropping the three-set decision.
