The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team ended the non-conference portion of its schedule on Sunday in Chatham, Ill. with a 7-0 win over Quincy.

Sunday's dual meet was the second straight match that the Prairie Stars won all nine matches.
Menno Servaes,
Nick Revin, and
Matthew Lapsley all went 2-0 on the day. Servaes had a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles, and won his No. 1 doubles match with
Alex Chan by a 7-5 margin. Revin had a 7-5 and 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, and Lapsley won 6-4 and 6-3 at No. 5 singles. The pair won the No. 2 doubles match by a 6-4 margin.

The third doubles match was won by
Ivan Esguerra and
Philip Rydell by a 6-3 margin.
Tomas Martinez,
Rafa Rojas, and
Oscar Toro won the other three singles matches. Martinez at No. 2 and Toro at No. 6 were winners in two sets. Rojas went to a third-set tiebreaker at No. 4 singles, and he won that by a 10-7 margin.

UIS improves to 6-1 on the year. The Prairie Stars will be home next Saturday for their conference opener versus McKendree.
