The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team had its biggest challenge on Saturday at No. 1 Lewis. The Prairie Stars could not pull off the upset in a 3-0 loss.

The Flyers won the match by scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-13. Lewis hit .317 for the match, and held the Prairie Stars to a .028 mark. UIS allowed just one service ace and had four on the day. Lewis won the statistical battles in kills, digs, and blocks.

Megan Krasowski led UIS with eight kills and three blocks.
Becca Blakeley had a team-highs of 21 assists and two service aces, and
Angela Denney led the squad with 15 digs.
Hannah Nicolaisen was second on the team with six kills and 11 digs.
Delainee Gibson tied Krasowski with three blocks.

UIS falls to 3-13 on the year, including a 3-12 GLVC mark. The Prairie Stars have their final road match of the season next Saturday at McKendree.
