The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team won its second straight 4-3 contest on Friday. This one came against Olivet Nazarene in Bourbonnais, Ill.

The Prairie Stars won the two competed doubles matches, which turned out to be big in the match.
Neha Mokhasi and
Sina Skjelstad won the No. 1 match by a 6-2 score, and
Franca Bucco and
Carol Quevedo won at No. 2 by a 6-1 margin.

The Tigers earned two team points after winning by default at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots. UIS swept the next three singles matches to finish though to clinch the victory. Mokhasi shutout her opponent at No. 4 singles, Bucco was a 6-0 and 6-1 victor at No. 3, and
Carol Quevedo won the top singles position by a 6-2 and 6-0 margin.

UIS goes to 5-1 on the season with the win. The Prairie Stars are back in action on Sunday at home against Quincy.
