The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team fell on the road on Sunday in Quincy, Ill. The Prairie Stars lost to Quincy by a 3-0 margin.
 
The first half of the game was all Quincy as it outshot UIS by an 8-0 margin, including a 5-0 advantage in shots in goal. Two of those shots found the back of the net in the 5^th and 43^rd minutes of the game.
 
The second half saw the Prairie Stars have more offensive possessions. UIS outshot Quincy 7-2 in the perior, but it was the Hawks that scored the final goal of the game in the 58^th minute.
 
Madison Grandys had a team-high three shots for UIS, and she and Kayla Meyer both put a shot on goal. Amanda Finnell took the loss in goal after making three saves in the game.
 
UIS falls to 1-6-0 on the season. The Prairie Stars will next take on Truman State next Friday.
