The University of Illinois Springfield men's soccer team played a scoreless tie on Friday night at No. 2 Indianapolis.

Indianapolis dominated action in the game, but it could not get a shot past UIS's
Pijus Petkevicius and the rest of the Prairie Stars defense. The Greyhounds had a 30-3 advantage in shots, including an 8-2 edge in shots on goal. Indianapolis also had seven corner kicks in the game, compared to one for UIS.

Petkevicius made eight saves and improved his save percentage to .944 on the year.
Lars Brinkman had two shots for UIS, including one on goal.
Javier Milla also put a shot on goal.

UIS is now 1-1-3 on the season. The Prairie Stars travel to Lewis on Sunday for their next GLVC contest.
