The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels to Southwest Baptist on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game against the Bearcats.
The Prairie Stars clinched their best GLVC season on Thursday night with a 61-56 win at Rockhurst. UIS is now 9-9 on the year, and will finish the year with its mostGLVC wins and best GLVC winning percentage.
Southwest Baptist will enter its final home game of 2020-21 with a 4-12 mark. The Bearcats have lost four straight games, including an 85-60 setback against Lewis on Thursday night.
Saturday's game will feature two of the top free-throw shooting team in the GLVC. UIS is second at the line by shooting 77.7 percent on the season. Southwest Baptist is third by shooting 76.7 percent from the free-throw line.
