The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team travels south on Tuesday afternoon for a 5 p.m. game at McKendree. The Prairie Stars are looking for a season sweep over the Bearcats for the first time since 2017.

UIS will enter the game with a 7-10 overall record, while McKendree is 7-6 on the year. The Prairie Stars are 12th in the GLVC Point Rating System, while the Bearcats are in seventh place.

UIS won the first meeting at TRAC by a 76-53 margin. The Prairie Stars shot 56.6 percent from the field, and held McKendree to under 40 percent shooting. Keymonta Johnson led UIS in that game with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, and he helped the Prairie Stars win the rebounding battle by 16 boards. Bryson Bultman led McKendree with 15 points and six rebounds.
