The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to three games on Saturday afternoon at TRAC. The Prairie Stars will be facing William Jewell in a 1 p.m. game. Saturday's game will be Senior Day, with UIS honored two players prior to tipoff.

UIS picked up its latest win on Tuesday night with a 56-46 victory over Lindenwood. The Prairie Stars are now 8-7 on the year, and one win away from clinching their best GLVC season.

William Jewell picked up a big road victory on Thursday night as it defeated Lewis by a 97-77 margin. That win moved the Cardinals to 8-9 on the year.

In the current GLVC Point Rating System, UIS is seventh, one spot ahead of William Jewell. The top eight at the end of the year will advance to the GLVC Tournament.
