The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team wraps up its first time around the Eastern Division on Friday night with a 7 p.m. game against Lewis. The Flyers are currently ranked No. 2 in the AVCA National Poll, while UIS is receiving votes in the poll.

UIS enters the match with a 1-2 overall record, while Lewis is 3-0 on the year. Last weekend, both teams earned 3-0 home victories over McKendree.

The Prairie Stars enter the week leading the GLVC with 2.95 blocks a set.
Brianna Bush is second in the conference with 1.73 blocks a set. Bush is also second in the conference with a .392 hitting percentage.

Besides last week's win over McKendree, Lewis also has victories over Southern Indiana and Indianapolis. The Flyers have dropped just two of its 11 sets, and has won eight straight sets.

Lewis leads the GLVC in both hitting percentage and opponent hitting percentage. The Flyers are hitting .244, and defensively, have held teams to a .094 mark.

Individually, Jamie Poppen leads the GLVC with 6.73 digs a set. Amanda Greening is tied with Bush with a .392 hitting percentage, and is tenth with 2.89 kills a set.
