The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will host a former conference friend on Saturday afternoon at TRAC. The Prairie Stars will take on Hannibal-LaGrange in a 1 p.m. game.

UIS and Hannibal-LaGrange were both members of the AMC from 2004-2009. The Prairie Stars held the advantage back then, winning 12 of the 13 meetings in that time span. The two programs will be meeting for the first time since UIS moved to the GLVC.

UIS is currently 2-6 on the season, including a 2-3 mark in non-conference games. Last weekend, the Prairie Stars lost a GLVC match to Indianapolis by a 63-59 score.

Hannibal-LaGrange is 2-11 on the year. The Trojans have lost six straight, including a 66-46 setback against Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday night.
