The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team travels to Indianapolis this week for the UIndy Thanksgiving Classic. The Prairie Stars will be taking on Northwood and Ohio Valley at the event.

UIS is currently 1-2 on the season after picking up its first win of the year last Thursday. The Prairie Stars won their 20th straight home opener with a 68-39 victory over Eureka.

Northwood, a regional opponent, is currently 1-2 on the year. It opened the season with an overtime win over Malone, but has since lost to Hillsdale and Findlay.

Ohio Valley, which moved to the NAIA national organization at the start of this year, is 0-3 on the season. The Fighting Scots have lost to Campbellsville, Cumberlands, and Indiana East.
