Women's Tennis Ends Fall Season With Dual Victory

Box Score The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team ended its fall season at home on Friday with a dual against Olivet Nazarene. The Prairie Stars won the competition by a 6-1 margin.
 
UIS won the doubles point after winning two of the three matches. The Prairie Stars then won No. 2 through No. 6 singles to get a victory in its first dual of the season.
 
Neha Mokhasi, Piper Schrepferman, and Kamila Kalinowska all went 2-0 on the afternoon.  All three won their singles matches in straight sets. Mokhasi teamed up with Sina Skjelstad for a narrow win at No. 1 singles, and Schrepferman and Kalinowska captured the No. 3 doubles match.
 
The other wins came from Carmen Llopis Fabra at No. 2 singles, and Franca Bucco at No. 5 singles.
