The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team has a home-and-home series this week against Lewis. The first game will take place at
TRAC on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
UIS comes into the game with a 3-2 record on the season. The Prairie Stars saw a two-game winning streak snapped last weekend with a loss at
Maryville.
Lewis enters this week with a 6-3 overall record. The Flyers have won three straight, including a 77-65 road win at
Maryville on Saturday.
Tuesday's contest will feature one of the top offensive teams in the
GLVC against one of the top defensive squads. UIS is allowing 65.8 points a game, which ranks fourth in the league. Lewis is fourth in the
GLVC on offense by averaging 71.6 points a contest.
