The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team is fresh off two straight wins over nationally-ranked teams. The road doesn't get much easier now, as they travel to Southwest Baptist on Thursday for a contest against a team tied for third in the GLVC standing.

UIS defeated Bellarmine and Indianapolis last week, both in dramatic fashion. On Saturday, the win over the Greyhounds came in overtime by an 89-86 score.

Southwest Baptist has won six out of its last seven games. The Bearcats defeated Missouri S&T last Saturday by a 93-76 score.

The Prairie Stars are 9-3 at home this season, but 3-5 away from TRAC. They will be travelling to Bolivar where Southwest Baptist is 9-1 this season.
