The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will look to play spoiler in its season finale on Saturday at Missouri-St. Louis. The Tritons enter the game tied for first in the GLVC standing, and first in the Point Rating System.
UIS has dropped its last three decisions, including an 85-80 loss at Lindenwood on Thursday night.
No. 18 Missouri-St. Louis has won three straight games. On Thursday, it defeated Lewis by a 73-61 margin.
Earlier this season, Missouri-St. Louis knocked off UIS in Springfield by a 63-55 score. UIS led by 11 at halftime, but the Tritons allowed just 19 points in the final 20 minutes.
Daniel Soetan led the Prairie Stars with 20 points and nine rebounds, and
Jesus Castillo knocked down four three-pointers and finished with 14 points.
