The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team fell to Grand Valley State on Saturday by a 4-1 margin.

Grand Valley earned the doubles point, but UIS did take one match when
Oscar Toro and
Alex Chan won the No. 2 contest by a 6-4 margin.

In singles play,
Menno Servaes won his singles match, including a 6-4 win in the third set. Grand Valley won the next three spots though, and No. 5 and No. 6 were unfinished.

UIS falls to 4-1 on the season. The Prairie Stars will next host Lake Superior State on Feb. 29.
