The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team returns to TRAC this Thursday evening. The Prairie Stars will welcome Missouri S&T to Springfield for a 7:30 p.m. game.

UIS is having one of its best home seasons in program history, coming into this week with a 9-3 mark at TRAC. It has won three straight at home, including back-to-back wins over nationally-ranked teams on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1.

Missouri S&T split its conference matchups last week. The Miners defeated McKendree, and lost to Southern Indiana.

UIS is one of the nation's best teams behind the three-point line, making over 12 three-pointers a game. The Miners also rely on the three-point shot, attempting nearly 26 a game and averaging 9.15 makes a contest.
