The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team returns to the court this Sunday with a 3 p.m. road game at Missouri S&T.
The Prairie Stars are looking to snap a two-game losing streak, which includes a late loss to Maryville by a 61-60 margin.
Missouri S&T is currently 2-5 on the year. The Miners have won two straight games, and averaged 87.0 points in those wins.
The UIS versus Missouri S&T game features two of the top three-point shooting teams in the GLVC. Both programs are making over eight three-pointers a game.
Last season, UIS defeated the Miners by an 87-74 score. The Prairie Stars never trailed in a game in which they shot 51.7 percent from the field.
