The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team has seen its first schedule change of the season. Instead of taking on Southern Indiana on Thursday night, the Prairie Stars will now travel to Kansas City, Mo. for a 3 p.m. game against Rockhurst.

UIS opened up the year last week with an 89-82 win over Quincy. The Prairie Stars did not trail in the victory.

Rockhurst opened 2020-21 with an 81-70 victory over nationally-ranked Southern Indiana. It fell though on Sunday to Lewis.

UIS led last year's contest with Rockhurst by 10 at halftime, but a cold offensive second half allowed the Hawks to come back for a 68-54 win. The Prairie Stars are looking to snap a five-game losing streak in games against Rockhurst.
