The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team begins its 2020-21 season this Friday. The Prairie Stars will be at home for a 7 p.m. game against Quincy. UIS will play a 22-game, conference-only schedule this season.

UIS is starting year two of the Matt Brock era. The Prairie Stars went 14-14 last season with one of the top scoring teams in program history that averaged 78.4 points a game.

Last year, UIS fell to Quincy in overtime by a 94-88 score. Chase Robinson led the Prairie Stars with 28 points. The Hawks are 10-7 all-time against UIS, and the two programs have split their last four games.
