The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team welcomes William Jewell to TRAC on Thursday night for a 5:30 p.m. GLVC contest.

UIS is searching for its first GLVC win of the season. The Prairie Stars fell twice last week in their first games of 2020, including a 67-63 loss at Indianapolis.

William Jewell also fell twice last weekend at home against Truman and Quincy. On Saturday, the Cardinals lost by a 59-47 margin against Quincy.

Saturday's contest will feature two of the top ten scorers in the GLVC. UIS's Lauren Ladowski is putting up 15.0 points a game, and she is accounting for over 20 percent of the team's scoring in 2019-20. William Jewell's Kiara Bradley is averaging 16.6 points a game, and she has scored 26.8 percent of the Cardinals' points.
