The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team looks to carry over its momentum from its win over nationally-ranked Indianapolis to this Thursday. The Prairie Stars return home for a 7:30 p.m. game with William Jewell.
UIS had one of its biggest wins in its NCAA era with a 79-69 victory over No. 11 Indianapolis last Saturday. The victory improved the Prairie Stars to 8-3 on the year, and 1-2 in the GLVC.
William Jewell also picked up its first conference win last Saturday with an 86-74 victory over Quincy.
UIS will bring a perfect 5-0 record at TRAC into Thursday's contest. A win would match the team's longest home winning streak since the 2011-12 season. The Cardinals are 1-2 this year in road games.
