The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team ends its five game homestand on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game against Indianapolis.
The Prairie Stars are 1-3 through the first four games of their homestand, including a 77-67 loss against Bellarmine on Thursday night.
Indianapolis has won three out of its last four games. On Thursday, the Greyhounds knocked off Lewis by a 52-46 margin.
The matchup will feature two of the top defenses in the GLVC. Indianapolis leads the league in GLVC games with a .370 field-goal percentage defense, followed two spots behind by UIS who is holding teams to a .387 field-goal percentage.
Indianapolis won the first meeting this season by a 67-63 score.
